About this project

A bedroom inside ornate classical plasterwork. We kept the walls white and detailed, and made the furniture low, soft and quiet in taupe and dark wood, so the room feels restful rather than grand.

Classical Bedroom: velvet bed with a pleated headboard and black-shaded lamps beside tall draped windows.

Classical Bedroom sitting area: curved upholstered sofa and a hammered bronze table beneath an ornate oval mirror.
